Hey @EarlOwenCompanyCarrollton ! Question for you! Trying to install this cover on a Silverado right now. On the brackets with the tangs at the front of the bed that help hold the canister how tight did you take them? I feel like I’m deforming the stake pocket holes and pulling the metal closer to the bracket with my install. Not sure if I should continue threading until it won’t twist anymore. I don’t feel like I’m putting an excessive amount of torque by hand but it’s spinning. I don’t think I’m stripping the aluminum tang

Why do I keep hearing about people needing their BAK bed cover fabric replaced? I've been researching their products and I'm reading comments all the time regarding the material quality, especially in areas with high summer heat. Are they using cheap material?

THE EQ DOES NOT WORK ON NEW GM TRUCKS- DO NOT BUY IT IF YOU HAVE A NEW CHEVY/GMC. The promised door lock/unlock and tailgate functions don't work, and it almost never responds after 3 presses of the remote. 4-6 is the norm. !DO NOT BUY THE RETAX EQ IF YOU HAVE A NEW CHEVY/GMC!

But why?

I bought these VP Racing Fuel Jugs and I bought the VP Racing Trigger Hose and it is way better then the regular hose they sell. Also, bought the Terra Electric Fuel pump for the Jugs and this thing a game changer. Has anyone had any issues storing 94 octane or 91 octane gas in these things for longer periods? Can it leech? Just want to confirm because I can't get any answers even from VP Racing HQ (probably because of possible legal issues). I am assuming it's just because of bullshit laws on colour of cans, design and safety stamping and nothing to do with the actual build quality but if someone could confirm this it would be greatly appreciated.

Please add one more test to your suite, The latter test where you stand on the cover. And see if it holds a two hundred thirty pound man without without buckling

No security test? I’m torn between this one and the bak revolver but you took a crowbar to the revolver but not this one. How’s the security??

BAK replaced my cover and I have had great success with the replacement. It is holding up and works great. I think there is no one perfect cover as I have had many brands on my different trucks I really support the BAK Revolver company in making a product they stand behind and something different thats works for me.

This video might have been more interesting without the childish theatrics.

I just bought one and installed it today. Was disappointed to see how fairly easy it was to break into. Now thieves will know how to do it, but they probably figured it out anyway.

Does the bottom brackets point inward or outward?

Had the decked for a year now. Best tool box I’ve ever had. It’s so packed with tools the weight has never sagged or disformed. Ladder is amazing. Front core track is amazing. The lid opens to damn near 90 degrees. Hinges are super quality and no gas shocks to fail over time. Super waterproof and the lid is designed to make it hard to pry open for theft. The handle and button is great. I had uws and weatherguard and this tops them both. Love that I don’t have to worry about black paint tool box chipping or peeling. That’s my experience with truck tool boxes in a nut shell. Hope it helps

Hello nice video I have a 2022 F250 short bed. I had a rugged liner installed and I believe it’s not correct. The installer cut a large hole rear passenger side to accommodate a bed hook. I don’t think the hole should have been made. The bed liner should have been a straight flush wall with a predrilled hole similar to drivers rear end near tailgate. Do you have pictures of any 2017-2022 F series pickup installs showing corners near tailgate end ? Thank you for any assistance
